In recent years, Westers has invited selected guests to dazzling events during “The Westers Experience,” offering incredible moments in gastronomy and event design. For this occasion, the focus shifted from grand and spectacular to intimate and elegant — simply a VIP version of the fantastic concept.
With Sweden’s MasterChef 2025, Matilda Klarqvist, cooking live alongside Westers’ Head Chef Cornelis van der Plas, guests were treated to conversations, a fantastic menu created by Matilda in collaboration with Westers, exciting new product launches, and much more.

About the event
Guests were welcomed with a custom-made welcome drink, each featuring their company’s individual logo.
The doors then opened to a transformed VENUE81, where shelves were filled with fresh vegetables and ingredients, and a specially built live kitchen awaited Matilda and Cornelis to showcase their talents. At elegantly set round tables, featuring a rotating, illuminated tiered centerpiece, the accompaniments for each course were served.
The event had a strong focus on food and drink, offering a table buffet created by Matilda in collaboration with Westers. In addition, Albin Eklund’s jazz trio provided smooth lounge music, there were Q&A sessions and on-stage interviews, and competitions were held for the guests.
The evening concluded with mini desserts and charcuterie boards served as examples from Westers’ new serving trolleys, along with luxurious cocktails from the bar.
